A leading company in home improvement and strategic partnership with a major retailer is seeking a dynamic Director of Finance to join their team in Richmond, BC. This company is renowned for its innovative products and fosters a culture of growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Manage the annual audit process and maintain profitability standards.
- Lead a high-performance team, facilitating annual budgeting and forecasting.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and credit compliance.
- Drive strategic initiatives identified by the executive team.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 7+ years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide financial support for decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and principles.
- Experience with ERP systems is an asset.
