Your Tasks And Responsibilities:
- Lead a diverse team in delivering Bayer’s vision of Medical Affairs credibility and excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop scientific platforms and drive scientific exchange.
- Partner with key external experts and medical associations to implement evidence-based initiatives.
- Maintain budget responsibility for field medical teams and associated functions.
- Act as an inspirational executive, attracting and developing professionals to form a cohesive team.
Who You Are:
Required Qualifications:
- M.D., Ph.D., Pharm D. or terminal degree with appropriate healthcare/scientific focus.
- Progressive leadership experience in pharmaceutical setting within medical affairs, commercial, or market access.
- Previous experience leading field medical teams and implementing scientific exchange initiatives.
- Expert knowledge of FDA regulations, ACCME guidelines, and pharmaceutical codes of conduct.
- Excellent presentation skills and willingness to travel up to 30-40%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of prior commercial leadership experience with scientific background.
